    Selecting a pediatrician can feel like an overwhelming task, especially if you're doing this before even having your first baby. Sometimes you pick someone based on convenience of the practice, other times you get a referral. When I first met Dr. Mani, I had selected her practice at the time for both these reasons. I was originally paired with a different physician who I saw a few times when my daughter was a newborn. But after the first time meeting Dr. Mani, I only wanted to see her. Never an alarmist, always taking time to really listen to my questions/ concerns, providing referrals and collaborative advice WITH follow-up truly sets her apart from other doctors I've known. With her newest venture, having her own practice on her own terms, parents are genuinely set up for the best pediatric experience, and I only wish this existed when my kiddos were littler.
